waaahh!!!

I just said goodbye to someone who will be leaving Dubai for good. I don't know if i should be happy for her. I just envy her because she would see her son soon and would be spending every waking hour taking care of her child. Nakakainggit just imagining it. Sana pauwi narin ako. :(

i shopped for toys last week and will be sending it on thursday. i've been a little bit emotional since then. ganun pala ang feeling ng namimili ka ng malayo ka sa family mo. i spent almost an hour picking up a barbie for my daughter, thinking "will she like this one?", "mafi-feel nya kaya ang pagmamahal ko pag nilalaro nya to?". everyday i feel like a walking zombie coz a big part of me is back home. the only comfort that i have is the fact that i'm here with my husband. sorry if i'm a bit of a drama queen. i think it is an "ofw thing" to be dramatic.

back in dubai

i came here last march 12 and started working for a gym that only lasted 15 days. (got scared of getting caught working on a visit visa). so im here now in the internet house 50 blocks away from our house, walking with a pair of slippers slowly eaten by the hot cement and sand im walking on. God! i miss the philippines! kahit siguro masama loob ko makita ko lang mga anak ko okay lang. yesterday i barely eaten anything. i had an interview with a very large company and i was expecting a call that didnt come. i was really upset. buti nalang alam ng asawa ko alam kung paano ako pasayahin. niyaya nya ako sa isang thai and japanese restaurant at pinalamon nyako dun. talking about comfort food, i ate chicken teriyaki while admiring the rotating churva that was the table. natuwa naman kahit papano ang lola nyo dahil it reminded me of a jdorama i watched (i think it was nodame cantabile). naalala ko ang kapatid kong pangit sa japan. hay, family. kung di lang dahil sa mga anak namin di nako babalik dito. sobrang mahal magpaaral ng anak sa isang english speaking school! so next time jme, teach ashley filipino para di nako mahirapan sa paghahanap ng school for her! hahaha. bye for now

paglisan

im counting the days that i would leave my home to go back to that empty place i call dubai. although richard is there, i still feel so incomplete because im not with my kids. so what do i do to prepare myself for leaving them? i watch koreanovelas, even if utoy is shouting "mommy, look at me!", i sit in the computer even if ashley keeps making those silly noises to get my attention. i look away, ignore my kids, even if it hurts...coz in the end, im not the one who will be there to take care of them. im not here.

i just found out today that one of my crushes went off to military, again. first it was gong yoo who left for the military last january 14. (coffee prince lead actor na mukhang prince talaga, well, for me ha!)


now it's haha's turn. (he's one of the regular performers in xman, a variety show in korea na sobrang bentang-benta sa akin at kay asion.)



hay, i was looking forward for a kim jong kook - haha reunion! (kim jong kook will be returning this year from his military service). sorry sa mga di nakaka-relate. better watch xman in you tube (the best!!!). goodbye to the two men in my life! i'll miss you!!! huhuhu.

highschool flashback

it's been almost a week since i've been going up and down to taytay, to my tita's house to help my cousin finish his thesis. he's a fourth year highschool student in siena and sobrang na prepressure ako coz there's a possibility na hindi sya maka graduate if i don't help him out. so, here i am, typing his thesis and asking help from jme through ym. nabobobo nako sa english since i spent almost 3 yrs. in a place na barok ang ingles na ginagamit - i go, u go (asking someone when we're going). thank God for the internet! jme's reply sa request ko:

im amusing myself today. dahil sa sobrang wala akong magawa, im checking kung ilang posts ang pwede kong magawa sa maghapon nato.

he's the star of the tv series "coffee prince". with his boyish looks and hilarious facial expressions, who wouldn't fall for him? (basta cute sha para sakin jme. wag kang magulo) sana next life, bigyan naman ako ni God ng ganitong papa. (no offense dad, nangangarap lang naman po. hehehe)
